WHY THIS MATTERS
VIBORUN is a running brand, but running has never just been about pace or race day for me.
Last year, running became the one time my brain would switch off. I was carrying more negative thoughts than positive ones, and those miles were where I could finally feel at peace. Speaking with ANDYSMANCLUB helped me understand that negative thoughts don’t make you weak, and that talking and taking action can change what happens next.
That is where ANDYSMANCLUB and VIBORUN connect. Much of AMC’s most important work happens away from public view. VIBORUN has also been built through the work nobody sees the early mornings, difficult miles, setbacks and the decision to keep moving.
You can never fully see what somebody is going through. It can all be hidden behind a smile. That smile was mine.
If this collaboration starts even one conversation or reminds somebody that it’s okay to talk, it has achieved something that matters.

FROM A PHOTOSHOOT TO 14 RUNNERS
What started as a plan to get a few photographs of the socks became VIBORUN’s first Track Night.
We put out an open invitation and 14 people came to Dorothy Hyman Sports Complex. Rob spoke about his own experience with ANDYSMANCLUB, then we warmed up together, ran 400-metre intervals, finished with a team relay and handed out the collaboration socks.
There were different paces and different reasons for being there, but everybody encouraged one another. It stopped feeling like a photoshoot and became a proper community evening.
It showed us that VIBORUN can be more than the products. It can create spaces for people to run, connect and have conversations that matter.
